I love the summer and I love fabric. It therefore seemed like a logical step to relaunch my business by combining these two favourites. Imagine hazy, lazy summer days lying on the grass with a picnic, hosting barbeques with friends, beach time or laid-back festivals… all with one lovely tablecloth and some colourful napkins.
Having friends and family over is one of life’s simplest and greatest pleasures, and a special part of that is making the surroundings look perfect (I’m not so good with the catering bit, unless it’s sangria of course!).
If you’re like me, you’re always cutting pictures out of magazines for inspiration, hunting down the perfect look for my summer table, or choosing different colour schemes.
Each year I decide what my “look” and theme will be and this year I’ve got it sussed – well almost! I absolutely love the fabrics that we’ve chosen for our very first product launch, the only problem is that I can’t choose between the gorgeous colour combinations. Perhaps I’ll just have to celebrate the season by embracing a kaleidoscope of summer shades for the table!
